Job summary

ARMStrong Insurance Services is seeking Loss Control Field Inspectors to join our team. You will conduct insurance loss control inspections on either commercial or residential dwellings and help identify risks to reduce accidents.

This is a part-time/occasional role with hours that vary and you set your own schedule. The position is home-based with required travel to each inspection location within your territory.

Qualifications

• Competent use of digital camera, word processing and e-mail.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must live within 30-mile radius of territory.
• Job will be based from home with travel to inspection locations.
• Maintain automobile insurance with bodily injury and property damage limits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inspections on either commercial or residential properties.
• Apply manual rules and company standards to identify risks.
• Prepare a schedule to maximize time and ensure timely service.
• Correspond with insured via phone, email and text to set up appointments.
• Complete a physical loss control survey to identify issues or hazards.
• Prepare required reports with multiple pictures after inspections.
• Communicate survey status via internal progress reports.
