Job summary

Pacific Blue Psychological Services seeks licensed therapists (LMFT, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologists) in Long Beach, CA, with a highly flexible schedule (2–5 days/week, 6–8 hours per day). Therapists will provide brief 20-minute sessions in various facilities, manage their own schedules, and balance private practice or family responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Professional license required.
• Knowledge of counseling and group therapy theories.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Experience with trauma, substance use and homeless populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and complete intake documentation.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities to meet client needs.
• Provide individual and group therapy and complete required documentation.
• Collaborate with treatment teams, community resources and referral sources.
• Provide crisis intervention and phone support when needed.
