Job summary

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is hiring a Part-Time Caregiver to assist a client in Tukwila, WA. You will provide personal care, mobility support, meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship in the client's home.

This role emphasizes compassion, reliability, and the ability to follow a care plan. Part-time schedule with pay $21.00-$23.00 per hour, based on experience and assignment, plus benefits and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association preferred/required as applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Assist with ambulation inside and outside the home.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Assist with prescribed exercises and recommended activities.
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Assist with shopping and errands when needed.
• Monitor and communicate changes in the client's condition or behavior.
• Communicate with the client, family, nurses, and care team.
