Job summary

Westfield Quality Care of Aurora is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our long-term nursing facility. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

In this role, you will clean rooms and common areas, restock supplies, and work with staff to ensure a smooth workflow while delivering compassionate resident care. We value teamwork, professional growth, and a positive, supportive work culture; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, and facilities, adhering to infection control guidelines
• Restock linens, towels, and supplies as needed
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of closets, cupboards, and other storage areas
• Assist with trash removal and recycling
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned, such as moving furniture, cleaning appliances, and shampooing carpets
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in customer service, responding to resident needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
