Job summary

Village Caregiving in Dayton, Ohio is seeking Home Health Caregivers to provide compassionate in-home support to residents in Springboro and surrounding areas. This part-time and PRN position offers bonuses and Daily Pay, with potential to transition to full time.

You'll assist with mobility, personal care, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments, while upholding health and safety standards and maintaining clear communication with clients and families.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience or an STNA License.
• CPR certification preferred but not required.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
• Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene including bathing and toileting
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
