Amedisys, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Flex Schedule Home Health Aide to support patients at home. You will start with orientation pay and transition to per-visit compensation, with rates between $15.00 and $24.00 per hour/visit depending on phase and duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current state CNA certification.
• CPR certification.
• Must pass the competency program.

Responsibilities

• Obtain temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist patient with bed mobility, bathing, hygiene and toileting.
• Prepare and assist with meals.
• Perform light homemaking and environmental tasks.
• Observe and report changes in patient status.
• Follow care center infection prevention and safety procedures.
• Assist with prescribed exercises as directed by nurse or therapist.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
