Job summary

Southwest Foodservice Excellence, Llc seeks a Food Service Worker to support daily cafeteria operations at Pikes Peak State College-Centennial Campus in Colorado Springs, CO. You will help prepare and serve meals to students and staff in a safe, clean, and friendly environment.

This full-time role offers regular Monday through Friday shifts, requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds, and a background check.

Qualifications

• Prior food service or cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well with others.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Must pass a background check and fingerprint screening.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Full-time schedule Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food according to recipes, production records, and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and service area.
• Stock serving lines, salad bars, and milk coolers.
• Follow health regulations and safety procedures.
• Serve meals to students, staff, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Sweep, mop, and take out trash as needed.
• Carry out additional duties to support the kitchen team and school meal program.
