Sodexo at UNC School of the Arts in Winston-Salem is seeking a part-time Food Prep Helper to assist with meal preparation, serve vibrant menus, and keep work areas clean and organized.

You will support a friendly service environment with a focus on safety and efficiency, with shifts varying by schedule and weekends. Previous food-service experience is beneficial but not required. This position offers training and a clear path to advancement.

Qualifications

• Reads recipes and/or product directions and assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and production equipment.
• May have basic cooking responsibilities, i.e., cook vegetables, chicken for salads.

Responsibilities

• Reads recipes and/or product directions and assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods using a variety of kitchen utensils/equipment
• Clean and sanitize work stations and production equipment
• May have basic cooking responsibilities, i.e., cook vegetables, chicken for salads.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
