Job summary

Roots Natural Kitchen in Charlottesville is seeking a part-time food and event delivery driver to bring meals to customers and sometimes assist with setup. You will interact with customers by phone and in person, serving as a friendly face of Roots, with flexible hours and a contracted position.

Starting pay is reported as an average of $40+ per delivery, with hours gradually increasing from about 5 hours per week to around 10 hours per week over six months.

Qualifications

• Approx. 5 hours/week initially, growing to 10 hours/week over 6 months.
• Must have a very flexible schedule with daily orders by 8:30am and general availability 10am-7pm Mon-Fri.
• Must have a driver''s license, car insurance, and a reliable car.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from Roots to customers and assist with food setup when required.
• Interact with customers in person and by phone; be the face of Roots.
