Job summary

Alpha Health Services in Pennsylvania is seeking a part-time DSP to work one-on-one with a participant in community and home settings. You will follow the ISP, provide transportation, promote independence, and document progress while building a trusted, caring relationship.

The role offers about 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling and competitive pay of $18–$21 per hour, based on experience, plus mileage reimbursement and opportunities to make a meaningful impact in the participant's

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a DSP or in a direct care role.
• Valid PA driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with participants and team.
• Willingness to pass PA ODP background checks and clearances.
• HIPAA knowledge or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport participant to activities, appointments and outings per ISP.
• Provide personal care support with dignity and respect.
• Support community participation and social inclusion.
• Monitor health, behavior, or condition and report changes.
• Document participant progress and status accurately.
• Implement individualized care plans tailored to needs.
• Assist with meals, accommodating dietary needs.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with supervisors, healthcare professionals and family.
• Complete PA ODP training and maintain certifications.
