DivaDance Joliet is seeking a part-time instructor to lead high-energy adult dance classes, teaching original choreography to a range of levels in Joliet, IL. You’ll represent the DivaDance brand with enthusiasm and professionalism, build relationships with clients, and support class hosts with setup and notes.

The role requires reliability, experience choreographing and teaching adults, strong communication, and a passion for community.

Qualifications

• Experience in dance, group fitness, cheer, or performance coaching.
• Previous experience teaching and choreographing adults.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance.
• Strong communication skills and team‑oriented mindset.
• Comfortable using technology (Slack, Mindbody, Spotify).

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, high‑energy dance classes for adults that align with DivaDance brand standards.
• Partner with the class host to help with basic studio setup, breakdown, and cleanliness; greet clients, nurture in‑class leads, and maintain class notes.
• Build authentic relationships with clients and fellow team members.
• Participate in team trainings, meetings, and community events.
• Represent the DivaDance brand with personality and professionalism.
