Job summary

All-Terrain Excavation in Pittston, PA seeks a dependable Part-Time CDL Driver / Equipment Operator to support our small crew on varied excavation projects. This role combines CDL driving with hands-on operation of excavation equipment, with day and/or night shifts and winter work.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, load and secure materials, assist with on-site tasks, and follow DOT safety procedures while maintaining a flexible schedule and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL is required.
• Current DOT medical card required.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to meet drug-testing requirements.
• Dependable transportation and strong attendance.
• Flexible and highly responsive to changing schedules.
• Willingness to work days and/or nights based on project needs.
• Availability for winter work and snow removal.
• Comfortable working outdoors and around construction equipment.
• Equipment operating experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL trucks safely for hauling, jobsite support, and winter operations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report vehicle concerns.
• Safely load, haul, dump, and secure materials and equipment as assigned.
• Operate excavation and construction equipment based on experience.
• Assist the excavation crew with general jobsite work as needed.
• Perform snow removal and winter driving assignments.
• Follow company, DOT, and jobsite safety procedures.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and remain responsive to scheduling needs.
• Help care for trucks, equipment, and company property.
