In this role you may assist other departments, stock shelves, or move carts when needed. A strong willingness to help customers, basic math, and computer use are important for success in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic abilities are required.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
• Answer customer questions
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation
• Complete other duties as assigned
