Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving in Encinitas is seeking compassionate individuals for short, flexible caregiving shifts of less than 4 hours to help seniors stay safe and independent at home. You’ll handle morning kickstarts, meals, quick wellness checks, and friendly companionship. Training is provided; CNA or HHA is preferred but not required.

• Willingness to learn and follow training provided.

Responsibilities

• Morning Kickstarts: assist with breakfast, morning meds, and morning routine.
• Dinner & Tuck-ins: prepare dinner and ensure the home is secure for the night.
• Quick Wellness Checks: assist with a bath, light housekeeping, or a grocery run.
• Friendly Companionship: 2-hour visits for a walk or a chat with a senior.
