Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking a part-time Coffee Attendant/Barista Pool to support campus coffee operations. The pool is used to fill temporary assignments as needed, with compensation ranging from $13.00 to $16.00 per hour and applications valid for one year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum three months related experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers and sells coffee.
• Operates coffee grinding and brewing equipment and prepares a variety of coffee drinks.
• Prepares ready-to-eat items and premade foods.
• Follows college cash handling policies and safetystandards.
• Maintains cleanliness and stock levels in the beverage area.
