ATvantage Athletic Training is seeking a BOC certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) for a flexible, part‑time Core Coverage role in the San Diego region. You will provide primary medical coverage for games and events, acting as the on‑site clinician for injuries and emergencies.

The role emphasizes acute care, game management, and flexible scheduling that fits with your primary commitments. California eligibility and CPR/AED/mandated reporter training are required.

Qualifications

• BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC)
• Eligible to practice in California
• Current CPR/AED certification & Mandated Reporter Training
• Strong independent decision‑making and acute care skills

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical coverage for scheduled games, tournaments, and high‑risk practices.
• Serve as the on‑site healthcare professional for acute injuries, illnesses, and emergencies.
• Evaluate and triage injuries, making immediate return‑to‑play and referral decisions.
• Communicate injury updates effectively with coaches, parents, and school personnel.
• Complete timely documentation for all patient encounters.
