Candidates must be California-eligible, CPR/AED certified, and able to make quick decisions in acute care, with responsibility for game coverage, injury triage, and on-site care, plus timely documentation.

Qualifications

• BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) in good standing.
• Eligible to practice in California.
• Current CPR/AED certification and Mandated Reporter Training.
• Strong independent decision-making and acute care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical coverage for scheduled games, tournaments, and high-risk practices.
• Serve as the on-site healthcare professional for acute injuries, illnesses, and emergencies.
• Evaluate and triage injuries, making immediate return-to-play and referral decisions.
• Communicate injury updates effectively with coaches, parents, and school personnel.
• Complete timely documentation for all patient encounters.
