Job summary

Genesis Industries, Inc. in Elmwood, WI is seeking an Assembler for a temporary, flexible part-time role. You will perform production duties with attention to detail to ensure parts meet company standards.

Responsibilities include inspection, packaging, operating multiple small-scale machines, and maintaining accurate paperwork. A High School diploma or equivalent and assembly experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Must be able to complete accurate reports.
  • Minimum of one-year assembly experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of secondary equipment operation (scales, tape machine, etc.).
  • Mechanical aptitude required.
  • Willing to cross-train in various areas.
  • Must work closely with others in a team atmosphere.
  • Knowledge of plastics is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and package products.
  • Set and use scales for part counts.
  • Run equipment such as pad printer, hot stamper, capper, sonic welder, RF sealer and sleeve machine.
  • Visually and mechanically inspect parts.
  • Perform packaging and labeling to complete finished goods.
  • Complete paperwork including listing good parts and scrap parts and time for each job.
  • Clean around workstation at end of shift.
  • Follow safety requirements and ensure coworkers follow safety policies.
  • Follow policies that support the quality system.
  • Other duties as assigned.
