Allied Universal in Bellingham, WA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol to provide reliable, on-site security at an assigned site with flexible shifts and opportunities to earn more through additional shifts. The role emphasizes customer service, incident response, and strict adherence to site policies while maintaining a professional presence.

Ideal candidates hold a concealed carry permit, armed guard license, and at least one year of security experience; CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial institution information.
