A leading company in sustainable labeling solutions is seeking a Pouch Machine Operator in Hamilton, Ohio. This role will involve operating pouch machines, conducting quality checks, and maintaining equipment. Shift: 2nd shift - Monday - 5 pm - 1:30 am and Tuesday through Thursday 3:00 pm to 1:30 am
Position Summary:The Pouch Machine Operator (PMO) will report directly to the Hamilton Flexible Packaging Manager and will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our pouch machines to ensure the highest quality flexible packaging for our customers. The PMO will set-up tooling in machine (side seals, punches, etc.) and run pouch machine to produce pouches at dimensions from customer approved template. The PMO will also be required to cross train on Lamination & Slitting equipment.

Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stoop, bend, kneel, lift, and reach; regularly required to stand for 8 hours; regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs.; regularly push and pull skids of product using a pallet jack; occasionally required to reach above shoulder height to remove items from shelving units. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
