Job summary

Bunzl Distribution NA is looking for a Flexible Packaging Engineer to serve as a technical liaison between the films marketed and the Sales team. This role requires expertise in flexible packaging structures and properties, on-site customer visits, and creative engineered solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess at least a high school diploma, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in Packaging or Engineering, and have several years of field experience. Competitive salary range of $75-80k plus bonuses and comprehensive benefits including medical coverage and 401K match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Two years of field experience preferred.
• Ability to build a ROI model based on film property changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated sample request process with suppliers.
• Identify competitive films and suggest product offerings.
• Provide support in the development of marketing collateral.

Skills

Experience with MAP

Knowledge of laminated structures

Understanding of barrier films

Presentation skills

Excel skills

Education
