Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Resource Pool - Operating Room (OR). The role supports day flexible shifts with on-call requirements discussed during interview. Requires ADN with BSN preferred, active RN license, and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN or higher preferred.
• Virginia or compact multistate RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 18 months OR RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care in the OR via the nursing process.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and coordinate patient care.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
