Job summary

San Ramon Family Optometry in San Ramon, CA is seeking a fill-in Optometrist to provide full-scope eye care on an as-needed basis. The ideal OD will join an established private practice with a supportive team and a strong patient base, delivering exams, diagnoses, glasses and contact lens prescriptions, and referrals when medically necessary.

You will work with flexible scheduling and the current practice hours, enjoying a collaborative environment and resources that help maintain high-quality

Qualifications

• CA Optometrist license required and in good standing.
• Ability to provide fill-in coverage as scheduled with reliability.
• Experience with contact lens fittings and glaucoma care.
• Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents certification required.
• Proficient electronic health record charting.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope optometry including exams, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Prescribe glasses and contact lenses; refer to specialists when needed.
• Collaborate with a private-practice team to ensure patient care continuity.
