Job summary

The Citadel Outlets in Commerce, CA is seeking On-Call Security Officers to provide a safe shopping environment with a flexible schedule that may include daytime, evenings, weekends, holidays, and/or overnight shifts. Pay rate is $18.00 - $20 per hour, depending on experience.

Applicants must have a valid CA State Guard Card, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2-3 years of security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protects the property on foot and by vehicle, staying visible and observant.
• Responds to calls for service in a timely, professional manner.
• Ensures safety and satisfaction of shoppers with a courteous attitude.
• Monitors critical areas of the property.
• Maintains knowledge of security operations, policies and procedures.
• Documents security activity concisely and accurately.
• Assists supervisors in implementing security work plans and programs.
• Performs duties according to OSHA health and safety standards.
• Trains new security personnel as needed.
• Establishes relationships with store managers and employees to enhance safety.
• Performs special projects or other duties as assigned.
