Job summary

HealthFitness, part of the Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness network, seeks an enthusiastic Recreation Assistant to join the Bentonville, AR recreation team. In this on-call role, you will help plan, promote, and support engaging programs and events that enhance the member experience and foster community.

You'll assist with enrollment at the desk, tournament setup, racquet maintenance, and event breakdown, while ensuring safety and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification prior to start date.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, promoting, and supporting recreation events and programs.
• Help at the recreation desk with enrollment, purchases, and reservations.
• Support equipment checkout, setup, and teambuilding activities.
• Ensure safety guidelines and sportsmanship during events.
