Job summary

Guidepost Montessori seeks a friendly, reliable Substitute Teacher to support our mixed-age classrooms when full-time teachers are out. This on-call, as-needed role offers flexible hours and meaningful work helping children ages 0–6 in a nurturing Montessori environment.

You'll assist with daily routines, activities, and transitions, collaborating with staff to ensure continuity of care. No formal Montessori training is required—we provide training during orientation and onboarding to set you up

Qualifications

• Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
• Valid state background check.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor.
• Passion for working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency.
• Assist with daily routines and classroom activities across mixed-age groups.
