Job summary

Geeks On Site is seeking experienced On-Call IT Field Technicians to support residential and small business customers across the United States. This is an independent contractor (1099) role with flexible scheduling and on-site service, focusing on PC, Mac, POS, printer configuration, and basic network troubleshooting.

You set your availability, drive your own route, and receive dispatches matching proximity and skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years IT support or field service experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and networking skills.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Windows and macOS issues
• Resolve WiFi and wired network problems
• Install and configure printers and scanners
• Install and support POS systems and run Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
• Perform outdoor TV mounting and basic AV setup
• Document work and communicate clearly with customers
• Two or more years of experience in IT support or field service
• Ability to work independently and provide professional customer service
• Lift up to 50 lbs
