Job summary

Geeks On Site provides nationwide computer repair and technology support services, delivered both remotely and on-site. The Field IT Technicians focus on computer troubleshooting, networking, printer configuration, and on-site IT service for residential and small business customers.

Role includes possible POS or outdoor TV mounting tasks based on experience; offers flexible scheduling and a driven, independent work style in multiple U.S. cities.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of IT support or field service experience.
• Strong networking and diagnostic skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver''s license.
• Ability to work independently and provide professional customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Own required tools including a laptop, drill, screwdrivers, cable tester, and RJ45 tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair Windows and macOS issues.
• Resolve WiFi, router, and wired network problems.
• Install and configure printers and scanners.
• Replace or upgrade hardware components.
• Reinstall operating systems using bootable tools.
• Document work and communicate clearly with customers.
• Install and support POS systems and run Cat5e or Cat6 cabling.
• Perform outdoor TV mounting and basic AV setup.
