Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking a reliable on-call Home Health Aide to assist clients in their homes in the Duluth area. This role offers about 10 hours per week with room to grow, ideal for adding to another schedule or easing back into care work.

Responsibilities include helping with daily routines, light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and companionship. Join a supportive team that values compassion and independence.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and caring by nature.
• Experience providing hands-on care in homes or similar settings.
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with auto insurance.
• Negative TB test or cleared Chest X-ray.
• Available to work 2 weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to enhance clients' daily lives.
• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
• Monitor changes in health and report to the RN Case Manager.
• Communicate with the care coordination team to update the plan of care.
