Job summary

Educare of Omaha, Inc. is seeking a Substitute Teacher (Early Childhood Education) to provide classroom coverage at one of our Omaha schools. You will support daily learning activities and help maintain program standards for young children.

This temporary role offers both full-time and part-time options (8-40 hours per week) with an hourly rate of $20. On-call schedule and ongoing coaching are provided to foster growth.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in education (Early Childhood preferred) preferred.
• An Active CDA, or willingness to obtain (if working 30 hours or more weekly)
• Two years early childhood experience in a group setting preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check that meets compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom coverage for daily absences, planning blocks, or short-term needs.
• Maintain program standards and educational requirements in line with Educare policies.
• Foster educational, social, and emotional development for all students.
• Assist with ongoing coaching and professional development initiatives.

Education
