Job summary

Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Obstetrics/Gynecology physician in Gainesville, FL. The assignment pays $150/hour to $170/hour and runs for 13 weeks starting 11-02-26.

The role requires MD or DO with OB/GYN residency, board certification, and Florida licensure. Responsibilities include comprehensive women's health, exams, ultrasounds, and potential surgeries within scope. Flexible scheduling and strong credentialing support are provided.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in obstetrics and gynecology (ACGME or AOA).
• Board certification in ABOG or AOA and Florida license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across life stages.
• Conduct gynecologic exams, ultrasounds and other diagnostics.
• Perform surgical procedures such as hysterectomies and C-sections where scope allows.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of women's health conditions.
• Counsel on reproductive health, contraception and family planning.
• Collaborate with pediatricians and neonatologists for patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and stay current with advances.
