Job summary

EverSource Staffing is recruiting Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs) to provide in-person counseling to students across Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and Staten Island. These flexible school-based roles are suitable for both seasoned clinicians and newly licensed LMHCs with a new app simplifying documentation.

Compensation is $70–$75 per hour on a 1099 contractor basis. You will work in public and private NYC schools, with admin support for billing, coordination, and compliance and on-time

Qualifications

• NYS LMHC license is required.
• School-based or youth counseling experience preferred.
• Must be available for in-person work in NYC schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person counseling for students with IEP-mandated services
• Document sessions using the streamlined digital platform
• Collaborate with school staff and families
• Participate in team meetings and school conferences as needed
• Follow DOE and NYS standards for school-based counseling
