Job summary

Qualifications

• Washington State Food Handler's Permit required or ability to obtain.
• Familiarity with district policies and food safety standards.
• Ability to maintain accurate cash handling and meal counts.

Responsibilities

• Collect money and meal tickets during lunch and issue lunch tickets as needed.
• Assist in cleanup of kitchen and service areas; maintain cleanliness.
• Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and properly stored items.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Inform supervisor of supplies needed for area of responsibility.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Report equipment issues or accidents to supervisor immediately.
• Attend trainings and safety meetings as required.
• Work well with students, staff, and parents.
