Staffing For Success is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a full-time Internal Medicine position in Columbia, NC. The NP will provide primary care to a diverse patient population in a rural clinic, with a weekday schedule and patient-centered focus.

The role emphasizes collaboration with supervising physicians, comprehensive exams, diagnostic testing, and patient education. Eligible candidates should hold NC NP licensure, mastery in EMR, and be prepared for on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina.
• Master's or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Internal Medicine.
• DEA license with prescribing authority.
• Medicare & Medicaid enrollment (PECOS/NCTRACKS).
• CPR or BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Foster team collaboration with supervising MDs.
• Deliver comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population.
• Document patient histories for effective treatment planning.
• Conduct physical exams and patient assessments.
• Order and administer diagnostic tests as needed.
• Communicate test results clearly to patients and families.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on home care and prevention.
• Coordinate referrals to specialists as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians to prescribe and manage treatments.
• Provide after-hours on-call support as needed.
