Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for home care in San Marcos, TX. This role provides skilled nursing care to an adult patient, including feeding tube care and medication administration, across nights and weekends as needed.

The RN will document care per physician orders, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Aveanna emphasizes compassionate care, ongoing training, and a supportive home health environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas.
• CPR certification (hands-on).
• TB skin test current within last 12 months.
• Six months nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate quality patient care according to physician orders.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition promptly to supervisor or physician.
• Document nursing actions, assessments and care coordination in the patient chart.
• Develop, implement and update the nursing care plan.
• Provide care with infection control measures as per OSHA standards.
• Educate patient and family on disease process, self-care and prevention strategies.
