Job summary

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certificate or CMA required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Valid state ID required.

Responsibilities

• Interview and discharge patients; complete forms and obtain signatures.
• Document intake in the EHR with chief complaint, medical history, vitals, tests, and immunizations.
• Perform phlebotomy, injections, and basic vitals as directed.
• Conduct Point-of-Care testing (glucose, urinalysis, EKG, HbA1c, INR, pregnancy tests, etc.).
• Assist Medical Practitioners with examinations and procedures.
• Coordinate care with Dentistry, Optometry, Endocrinology, and Mental Health services.
