Mathnasium in San Diego, CA is seeking a Math Tutor to help K-12 students catch up and advance. You will teach from Kindergarten through Pre-Calculus and SAT/ACT prep, using ready-made lessons with a Socratic approach. No lesson planning required; training is provided.

Flexible afternoon shifts (2+ weekdays) with paid training and opportunities for advancement to Lead Instructor or full-time roles. Must pass a background check and enjoy working with kids.

Qualifications

• Strong math through Algebra I is required (Geometry+ preferred).
• Love working with kids and ability to motivate.
• Must pass a background check and be available 2+ weekday afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Teach Math from Kindergarten to Pre-Calculus, SAT/ACT prep.
• Motivate students with real-world examples and track progress.
• Team-teach with Center Director to deliver lessons.
