Job summary

Mathnasium of East Sparks is seeking part-time math instructors to support students in grades K-12 at 2888 Vista Blvd. Suite 106, Sparks, NV 89434.

The role offers a highly flexible schedule ideal for students with demanding class timetables and opportunities for training in the Mathnasium Method and Number Sense. Instructors will teach in-center, online, and via hybrid delivery, using individualized instruction within a group setting.

Qualifications

• Exceptional math skills through Algebra II and Geometry.
• Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to professionally interact with students and parents.
• Energetic and empathetic personality.
• Must work well with the established team; we do everything as a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional instruction to students
• Participate in positive interactions with parents and establish a high level of confidence and program value
• Become proficient with digital educational materials & processes
• Teach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices which include individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ progress throughout instructional sessions, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students
• Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework
• Support the maintenance of a clean & professional learning environment
• Assist with non-teaching/ instructional tasks as needed
