Job summary

Air Force Global Strike Command is seeking a Maintenance Worker for Malmstrom AFB. You will perform a range of maintenance, custodial, and repair duties in lodging facilities, including carpentry, painting and plumbing tasks.

You may work up to 40 hours per week in a flexible schedule with no guaranteed hours. The role requires performing routine safety inspections, operating tools, and coordinating with management.

Qualifications

• Federal position with no education substitution allowed.
• Goes into a flexible schedule with no guaranteed hours.
• Requires ability to perform maintenance, custodial and repair tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, custodial and repair tasks for lodging assets.
• Replaces light bulbs, fixtures, outlets and switches as needed.
• Inspects and repairs lodging equipment and plumbing as required.
• Paints indoor/outdoor surfaces and performs simple woodworking.
