Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Clear Lake is seeking an LVN/LPN to provide nursing care under an RN’s direction on the unit. You will gather data, report findings, and perform therapeutic procedures for patients in an age-appropriate, policy-guided manner.

Requirements include current LVN/LPN licensure in Texas and BLS certification. One year of inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred but not required; prior ED/ICU experience and vent/trach/PICC familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Holds current licensure as LVN/LPN in the state of employment (Texas).
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by a registered nurse on the unit.
• Gather and report patient data and carry out orders.
• Perform therapeutic procedures appropriate to patient age and population.
