Job summary

Mercy is seeking a flexible Licensed Practical Nurse for the Gig Nursing Program (GIG). You will float between Mercy Hospital facilities in Missouri, selecting day or night shifts and avoiding weekend or holiday requirements when possible.

Earn $30/hour with a variable shift incentive, W-2 status, and a guaranteed minimum 12 hours every 90 days, up to 30 hours per week. Epic/BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred; IV cert required; position supports lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• One year of recent bed-side LPN experience to work Med Surg
• For all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.) a minimum of two years of recent bed-side LPN experience
• IV certification required
• Epic experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, & PALS certifications where applicable

Responsibilities

• The LPN - GIG will float between Mercy Hospital facilities of their choice
• Provide patient care under supervision and coordinate with departments as needed
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality and ensure safety during shifts
