Five Star Nursing is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to work in our skilled nursing facilities, following physician-established plans and supervised by an RN. We value nurses as advocates and health educators for patients, families, and communities.

Qualifikationen

• Active LPN license to work in New York.
• CPR certified (BLS or ALS accepted).
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
• Strong patient assessment skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated clinical competency.

Aufgaben

• Instruct patients and their families in proper treatment.
• Help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health.
• Assess and record symptoms and/or reactions and progress in patients.
• Administer patient medications as prescribed by the treating physician.
• Assist in rehabilitation in accordance with the physician's established plan of treatment.
