Job summary

Career Land Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a contract basis. We offer full time, part time, and flexible hours to accommodate the needs of our patients and staff.

You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, assist with procedures, and educate patients and families while maintaining accurate records and contributing to individualized care plans in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in the state of the job location.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures
• Provide wound care and dressing changes
• Educate patients and their families on proper care and self-management techniques
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Adhere to all nursing standards and procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
