Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking physicians for locum tenens assignments in Minnesota to cover a busy Level 1 pediatric emergency department and a broad range of general, trauma, OB, regional, neuro, thoracic, vascular, ortho and pediatric cases.

Assignments offer flexible Monday–Friday shifts (8–10 hours, 40+ hours weekly) with pager call potential and a 20-minute response requirement. Paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing, and Weatherby consultant support are provided.

Qualifications

• ATLS, PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required.
• Hospital is Level 1 pediatric emergency department on site.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across general, trauma, OB, regional, neuro, thoracic, vascular, ortho and pediatric services.
• Respond to pager calls with a 20-minute response time.
• Work in a facility with 15 operating rooms and a Level 1 pediatric ED.
