Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking qualified physicians to provide full-time hospital coverage at a Level 1 pediatric emergency department. The assignment involves general, cardiac, trauma, OB, regional, neuro spine, vascular, ortho and pediatrics, with 15 operating rooms on site.

Shifts are Monday through Friday, 8–10 hours, with pager call potential and a response time within 20 minutes. Weatherby covers malpractice, travel and housing expenses and provides 24/7 consultant access for support.

Qualifications

• Experience with hospital-based coverage across general, cardiac, trauma, OB, regional, neuro spine, vascular, ortho and peds.
• Ability to work in a Level 1 pediatric emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Cover shifts Monday to Friday with flexible 8–10 hour days.
• Respond to pager calls within 20 minutes when on duty.
• Provide on-site coverage for a hospital with 15 operating rooms.
