Job summary

The City of Valdez is hiring Lifeguards to supervise pool patrons and enforce safety rules under the Aquatics Recreation Coordinator. Positions are part-time, non-benefited, and temporary, with 15 to 20 hours per week and a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum qualifications include some high school education, current Red Cross Lifeguard certification (CPR Pro/AED and First Aid) or ability to obtain before starting, and being at least 15 years old.
