Job summary

Sodexo at Oregon Institute of Technology is seeking a Food Prep Helper to assist in preparing and serving vibrant menus while keeping work areas clean and organized. The role emphasizes welcoming customer service and contributing to daily operations across varying shifts.

The position offers full-time or part-time hours, with a pay range of $15.00–$16.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. Prior experience is a plus, but readiness to learn and a team mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Reads recipes and/or product directions and assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods using a variety of kitchen utensils/equipment.
• Clean and sanitize work stations and production equipment.
• May have basic cooking responsibilities, i.e., cook vegetables, chicken for salads.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
