Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of equivalent experience in a full-service kitchen in a health care facility, school or restaurant.
• Knowledge of quantity cooking: ability to follow standardized recipes and convert measurements for meals.
• Knowledge of all kitchen equipment and utensils usage.
• Knowledge of Health Department regulations.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, train, supervise, and direct site staff and volunteers.
• Valid driver’s license preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing meals to serve or package for various populations from youth to adult.
• Transport in bulk to satellite meal sites when needed.
