Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Janitorial Crew Member in Granger, Indiana. Join a fast-paced, growing team with flexible shifts and leadership opportunities in a dynamic environment dedicated to clean, safe facilities.

Starting pay is $17.49 per hour. Duties include cleaning rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas; lifting up to 49 pounds; standing long shifts; reading safety procedures; and recording time with the KBSPresence app.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Walk and stand for long periods during shift.
• Read and interpret safety rules and procedures (in English; Spanish where required).
• Use KBSPresence timekeeping app for clocking in/out and training.

Responsibilities

• Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors throughout the sales floor and seating area.
• Clean windows and mirrored surfaces; polish stainless steel surfaces.
• Dust fixtures, shelves, and products as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the customer and team member restrooms (includes cleaning and policing as needed).
• Complete sweep logs, as directed.
• Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
