Job summary

Vital Research, in partnership with the State of Arizona, seeks independent contractors for a statewide project focused on understanding the quality of life and satisfaction of individuals receiving state-supported services. You will conduct confidential surveys by video or in person, following project protocols and deadlines.

Contract Term: November 3, 2026 – May 30, 2027; Independent Contractor status with flexible, project-based work and a minimum of 5 completed surveys per week.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting interviews, surveys, or research.
• Experience supporting aging, disabled, or other underserved populations through social services or related work.
• Ability to communicate clearly and build trust with others.

Responsibilities

• Contact participants from a provided list to schedule and complete surveys.
• Complete an average of 1 survey per day or 5 surveys per week.
• Conduct surveys using company-provided technology and established protocols.
• Record participant responses accurately while maintaining confidentiality.
• Communicate professionally with participants and research team.
• Demonstrate empathy and cultural sensitivity during interactions.
• Use the provided translation service when needed.
• Manage own schedule and complete assignments within project expectations.
